Collage of collateral damage

Hey there people,
This being my first ever blog, I've decided to gather my thoughts and go with the flow, rather than direct them. Lets see how it works out :-)

The recent catastrophes in Mangalore,Karnataka (Boeing flight crash ) and Jangraham,West bengal (Jnaneshwari Express derailment), which have torn apart families and shook our populace to the core, seem to have somehow triggered a series of narrowly missed misfortunes of similar kind.
I once read an article on how people think, called the Recency effect. Doesn't it make one wonder how two domestic passenger airlines almost collidedin Mumbai, following the Mangalore airliner mishap ? Or how the ghastly plot laid by Maoists derailed a train(28th may) in west bengal is ironically followed only by Guwahati-bound Rajdhani Express's derailment(25th may) at Amba halt between Kharik and Naugachia stations in Bihar? How awry, yet interspersed? Its like something from theEdward Lorenz's chaos theory, which tells that there're no random incidents, but every outcome is a properly pre-planned course, unfolding over the time. It is our duty to find the missing link and bridge the void.

What follows chaos is hyper alertness, both in the administration as well as the people. The administration gets into remedial measures for the recent outcome and the media starts looking for likeliness in other such incidents. It is finding the root of an event, that is important while dealing with an incident at hand. Find the source and you can be the one to predict nature's next course.... Makes you wonder doesn't it?
